Sivan 4, 5777

The city had no need of the sun or
of the moon to shine in it,
for the glory of God
illuminated it.
The Lamb is its light.
Revelation 21:23

Sivan 3, 5777

'I will bring back the captives of My people Israel;
they shall build the waste cities
and inhabit them;
they shall plant vineyards
and drink wine from them;
they shall also make gardens
and eat fruit from them.
I will plant them in their land,
and no longer shall they
be pulled up from the land
I have given them,'
says the LORD your God.
Amos 9:14-15

Sivan 2, 5777

Does the hawk fly by your wisdom,
and spread its wings
toward the south?

Iyyar 25, 5777

A highway shall be there,
and a road,
and it shall be called
the Highway of Holiness.
The unclean shall not pass over it,
but it shall be for others.
Whoever walks the road,
although a fool,
shall not go astray.
No lion shall be there,
nor shall any ravenous beast
go upon it;
It shall not be found there.
But the redeemed shall walk there,
and the ransomed of the
LORD shall return,
and come to Zion with singing,
with everlasting joy
on their heads.
They shall obtain joy and gladness,
and sorrow
and sighing
shall flee away.
Isaiah 35:8-10

Iyyar 24, 5777

Jesus said to him,
"I am the way,
the truth,
and the life.
No one comes to the Father
except through Me."
John 14:6

Iyyar 23, 5777

Then the Pharisees and Sadducees came,
and testing Him
asked that He would
show them a sign from heaven.
He answered and said to them,
"When it is evening you say,
'It will be fair weather,
for the sky is red';
and in the morning,
'It will be foul weather today,
for the sky is red
and threatening.'
Hypocrites!  You know how to
discern the face of the sky,
but you cannot discern
the signs of the times.
A wicked and adulterous generation
seeks after a sign,
and no sign shall be given to it
except the sign of the
prophet Jonah."
And He left them and departed.
Matthew 16:1-4

Iyyar 22, 5777

So I said, "Oh,
that I had wings like a dove!
I would fly away
and be at rest.
Indeed, I would wander far off,
and remain in the wilderness.  Selah
I would hasten my escape
from the windy storm and tempest."
Psalm 55:6-8

Iyyar 16, 5777

Beloved, I pray that you may prosper
in all things
and be in health,
just as your soul prospers.

Iyyar 15, 5777

Jesus said to them,
"Fill the waterpots with water."
And they filled them up
to the brim.
And He said to them,
"Draw some out now,
and take it to the master
of the feast."
And they took it.
When the master of the feast
had tasted
the water that was made wine,
and did not know where it came from
(but the servants
who had drawn the water knew),
the master of the feast called the bridegroom.
And he said to him,
"Every man at the beginning
sets out the good wine,
and when the guests have well drunk,
then the inferior.
You have kept the good wine
until now!"
This beginning of signs
Jesus did in Cana of Galilee,
and manifested His glory;
and His disciples believed in Him.
John 2:7-11

Iyyar 10, 5777

We implore you on Christ's behalf:
Be reconciled to God.  God made him who had
no sin to be sin for us,
so that in him we might become
the righteousness of God.

Iyyar 9, 5777

"Don't urge me to leave you
or turn back from you.
Where you go I will go,
and where you stay I will stay.
Your people will be my people
and your God my God.
Where you die I will die,
and there I will be buried.
May the LORD deal with me,
be it ever so severely,
if even death
separates you and me."
Ruth 1:16-17

Iyyar 8, 5777

So Satan went out
from the presence of the LORD
and afflicted Job with painful sores
from the soles of his feet
to the crown of his head.
Then Job took a piece of broken pottery
and scraped himself with it
as he sat among the ashes.
His wife said to him,
'Are you still maintaining
your integrity?
Curse God and die!'
He replied, 'You are talking
like a foolish woman.
Shall we accept good from God,
and not trouble?'
In all this, Job did not sin
in what he said.
Job 2:7-10

Iyyar 6, 5777

But Moses' hands became heavy;
so they took a stone
and put it under him,
and he sat on it.
And Aaron and Hur
supported his hands,
one on one side,
and the other on the other side;
and his hands were steady
until the going down of the sun.

Iyyar 5, 5777

"And God will wipe away every tear
from their eyes;
there shall be no more death,
nor sorrow, nor crying.
There shall be no more pain,
for the former things have passed away.
Then He who sat on the throne said,
'Behold, I make all things new.'
And He said to me,
'Write, for these words are true and faithful.'
And He said to me, 'It is done!
I am the Alpha and the Omega,
the Beginning and the End.
I will give of the fountain
of the water of life freely
to him who thirsts.
He who overcomes shall inherit all things,
and I will be his God
and he shall be My son.'"
Revelation 21:4-7
